Farmville Jamaica Live hosts farm fest

FARMVILLE Jamaica Live, a social farming club, will host a day of fun at the Thetford Great House and dirt track this Sunday, September 25.
Farmville Jamaica Live's aim is to give persons an opportunity to grow their own produce. There are three different categories of farmers: an active farmer, global farmer and an absentee farmer. Farmville Jamaica Live tries to cater to everyone. Participants will learn where foods come from and how those produce get from the farm to their dinner plates, while having fun. Farmville Jamaica Live invites their active farmers to visit their farms on a Sunday to tend to their crops and produce and socialise with other farmers.
Farmville Jamaica Live’s aim is to give persons an opportunity to grow their own produce.

Farmville Jamaica Live Farm Fest will feature exhibition driving by Richie Rerrie and Bobby Marshall, also the May Pen Drifters Club will be demonstrating their drifting skills. Other fun activities will include farm tours, which will take participants down to the river; various board games, treasure hunt and a fashion show.
Farmville Jamaica Live's Farm Fest is sponsored by CB Chicken, COK Sodality, Everyday Auto Parts, Rum Bar, ALI Finance Limited, Mayberry Investments Limited, HYPE TV, Sign Xpress, JoJo's Jerk Pit, Rum Fire, and Posh N Sassy.
The Farm fest starts at 8:30 am and runs to 6:00 pm, and will be followed by September Frenz Pon De Endz after party.
