They will be ready by next week

In the interim we have a system in place with the Covenant Insurance Brokers to verify membership so persons who have paid up can contact Loi Spence (920-2435) if they wish to get on the Scheme now.

Yes, we now have Jamaica Automobile Association as a discount partner.
They provide us with a discount on their Gold Package.

I just posted the following in Advantage General's thread on Wheels Jamaica based on my current experience with them resulting from an accident involving one of their clients who was at fault in causing damage to my car with an estimate of over $1.2million in repairs :

"Can you explain to the general public who wishes to view your company as one with good business ethics your position on the following as it relates to third parties involved in accidents where your client is at fault:

- Your client's vehicle hits another party's vehicle causing extensive damage
- You decide that the driver at the time of the accident was in breach of the conditions of the agreement set out between you and YOUR client
- You therefore refuse to cover the repairs to the third party's vehicle claiming that the agreement between YOU and YOUR CLIENT was breached
-  Third party is left with no other option but to claim against their own insurance company, thank goodness for comprehensive insurance, however they therefore suffer the penalties of paying the deductible plus losing their 65% No Claim Discount which they have built up and accrued over years of careful driving

So, until you hear from my lawyer, please explain through this forum why you are such a great company to do business with"

Well, I met the President & CEO of Advantage and laid out my case to him and ask that they at least offer me a quote for a replacement vehicle considering that now I have to claim from my own insurance for the damages to my car which is now deemed a write off, hence with them I'm fc#ked.   He generously got back to me the following day with a quote for $289,000 for the year ...........  Bear in mind no less, I have a Prado which has been with them for the last 2 years

Maybe if it was a Subaru I would have gotten a 10% disount    Grin
