Big up Swiffy, the man responsible for a some really FAST Subaru on the road.  good

And from what i hear, he was also responsible for a 12.4 Honda CRX (no breeze, just NOS).

I have first hand experience with his tuning. The yute tune mi car and all Toyota with 2 engines mi a cut dance1 (Although he had gearbox prob still, but who is checking, lol)

Thats some sick results man. Keep it up.

Big up Swiffy and the white tiger  bb - as far as I'm aware this is the fastest Subaru in drag racing since the Baileys did 10.5 with a gutted GC many years ago. It's even more impressive when one takes into account the fact that the 11.5 was done with a power robbing up-pipe leak and that the set-up was thrown together in just a few days. I suspect that the leak got progressively worse as the day wore on because despite removing some stuff from the car (passenger seats etc), the tiger was not able to better that time (the 11.5 was done with full weight).

My best time for the day was 12.5 on my first run. The car got progressively slower after that (despite the fact that the day got progressively cooler)-12.7, 12.8 and 12.9. I have some issues to work out because though the car was tuned for 28-30 psi on meth, it was only holding about 22-23 psi so the A/F ratios were in the 10.2-10.3 range at wideopen throttle (the car actually feels faster on low boost now). Swiffy has suggested that I should consider going with an external wastegate because it appears that the fabricated actuator we used can't handle the pressure of 28-30 psi (The one on the car now is the second one as the first one started leaking). I also think the headers are leaking as the exhaust has a unusual sound that got progressively louder throughout the day yesterday. I will try to sort out these issues and be back for my 11's timeslip next meet.

Stout was also supposed to rep for the Subbie camp, but unfortunately the torgue monster destroyed its gearbox on the drive down and had to be towed back to Kingston. I know he'll be back in action very soon.

Good to hear the day turned out good as well as a fine tuning.
G, I did suggest to Paul that you use and EWG as the stockers are suckers.
Just let it bleed backing to the exhaust.
Don't want you getting into trouble  whistle whistle whistle
But none the less, you guys raised lots of eye brows, and the big monster was not even there.
Next meet will be quite interesting.
with the car holding 30psi g, I see you car running 11's easy, and if swiffy get rid of the leak, low 11's high 10's.
Gut the torgue monster and mid 10's is possible.
mad props to you guys.

Yeah, the clutch is still stock. Feels like it's on its last lap.

Hope to get an aftermarket one before next meet.

On my first run it was 1.7 and on the second it was 1.8. I didn't collect the slips for my last two runs, but I suspect the 60 ft times were even slower.

If it got cut, it would have to have been a grudge match cause that car is the 10 seconds champ. I know the car it beat in the 10 seconds finals (Madsick Evo from Cayman) did 9.9 in a grudge match, but I'm not sure which car it ran against in posting that time.

Yeah, he's mixing them up. The 700 whp Evo being referred to is the Silver lefthand drive 8 or 9 that won the 10 seconds class. The vid above is of the 9 seconds final with Craig Lue's Evo VII.

I get you, I was thinking Craige's car was the 700whp one.
I did see the silver LHD Evo, it had on slicks as well.
So that one won the 10sec class while Craig bogged on the line and lost the 9's

1st run G did he did 12.4 and that was a horrible launch with crappy 60ft.
So hopefully new updates will be had soon.

Unfortunately (in terms of times) my day didn't get any better than 12.4 because of my dying stock clutch (yesterday was about my 4th or 5th meet with the stock clutch). No matter what I tried the car kept bogging off the line (my 60ft times for my last four runs were all in the 2.0 - 2.2 seconds range when they are usually 1.7). Nevertheless, due in part to some good fortune along the way, I managed to make it to the 12 seconds finals where I limped to a 13.2 at 90 mph (both bogging on the launch and missing the 4th to 5th shift). The class was won by a Evo 9 out of Lueboyz camp in 12.3.

Other subbies that repped for us were a silver GC8, white 04 STI, 2002 twin turbo Leggie and a Forrester. The silver GC8 performed below expectations (low 13's) due mainly to a weak wastgate spring which prevented the boost from being raised to the desired level and went out in the semi finals of the 13 seconds glass due to a damaged clutch. The white STI had a best time of 12.9 just rolling off the line (owner's first time at strip) to break out of the 13 seconds class. The forrester had clutch issues and retired after two qualifying runs.

Though overall we did not perform as well as we hoped, it was nice seeing five Scubbies at the track for a change instead of the usual one or two. I know things will only get better from here  good.

Dam impressive for the Scubbies, more importantly, G also got his first trophy. He got the 2nd place cup.
Though the win would have been great, he marked his day with the cup and that is good bro.
Nuff props.
Drummy had his first spell and did 12.9  Body Builder Body Builder with rolling off the line, can you imagine when he gets a better launch.
Burger, hush boss, but gwan duh yuh ting.
Blendman, nice to see you doing both circuit and drag. keep at it, and run the place.
I think for the next meet, I will ask Jalil if he would let the car run because I think it can take home a cup as well.
All in all, good run Scubbies, and keep the good job going.
Jody, I hope you will be able to make the next one as well.

15's. He had an issue with the car falling out of boost after it was launched. He was speculating that it might have something to do with the transition from the small turbo to the bigger one.

If Jagstrip in Clarendon opens as scheduled in December, this last meet at Jamwest would have been my last there.

So Foska, soon "distance" will no longer be an available excuse for not getting involved  biggrin.
