i have a 1.5L impreza and i would like to get about 45-60HP more how can i achieve this    beta  read

Only way to achieve those figures would be forced induction and boosting that engine is neither practical nor economical .......  Start saving .....  2 thumbs up

Swap in a WRX or STI drivetrain along with harness and ECU then add WRX or STI suspension, brakes, etc OR buy a WRX or STI. You could try boosting the 1.5 but you'd need some sort of engine management system as I am not sure that ECU can be tuned. You could also try swapping in the 2.0 or 2.5 NA engines as well but you would need the ECU and possibly the harness from the donor car.

thanks for the info stig. do know where i could get 2.5 NA drivetrain plus harness and also any idea what the cost would be for the drivetrain plus installation  victory whistle yahoo

No clue where you can get a NA scooby engine in JA dude. You might have to import one but if you going to go through all that headache, do like Mtechnic said.
